Quotable Quote

Stop trying to change the world since it is only the mirror. Man’s attempt to change the world by force is as fruitless as breaking a mirror in the hope of changing his face. Leave the mirror and change your face. Leave the world alone and change your conceptions of yourself.”
― Neville Goddard, Your Faith is Your Fortune

  1. This is a provocative thought. If the world is a mirror then what is real? Does it mean that what is being reflected back to me is me?

An indian guru when asked this question what is real, replied, what is real is that which does not change. Science tells us we change every minute and in seven years we change completely. Wayne Dyer challenges “where is the baby body in which you were? In fact where is the baby? There is no baby, therefore it was not real” So, if reality is that which does not change, I’d say then what is real is our consciousness, soul, spirit whatever name we want to call it because if I do not look at myself in the mirror I feel I am a timeless traveller who has not aged at all.
    Just saying, just thinking
