Valentine Poem – February 14

We talk about love

As if it can be sliced

And shared

Each slice perfectly

Paired and pared

For mother, father

Brother, sister

Friend, lover

Stranger

Love is like water

You cannot grasp her

It has be inside of you

It does not come out of the blue

You taste it, feel it and experience it

You cannot look for it

Not one bit

Want to experience love?

Don’t look above

Open your heart.. a little wide

Become a lover

Feel the energy around your heartbeat

Pulsate  with warmth for those you meet

You want more for them

Inspired to write a poem

That’s love everything else

Is something else.
