I will always Love you Whitney – Valentine Poem – February 11

I loved you

as a fan would

I loved you

as much as I could

your music touched me

your talent your destiny

took you to the heights

leaving its bites

sunk you to its depth

and perhaps your death

in tragic irony

My dear Whitney

But you’ve left your mark

that shines in the dark

like a star in the night

there in plain sight.

A legend

to the end

A gift a Godsend

leaving trails of your voices

your choices

so it must be

fly away Whitney

sing for the seas

the bees

the trees

each verse

a tribute to the universe

The gods love you

oh yes they do.

Goodnight my love

fly like a dove.
