Valentine Poems – February 6 – Poem #6

Thanks for those who appreciate these poems – they are coming through stream of consciousness. I try not to think too much but to decide to write and let the words come. I know some may seem rather odd but hey, I love writing and it’s fun

I feel like a ball of fire

That fuels my balloon higher

It cools the body as it heats

Sends shocking beats

Sizzles up and down my spine

Electrified twine

When you’re in these arms of mine.

Lightening brightens the skies

Bolt and dive like spies

butterfly aimlessly float

Joseph’s quilted coat

More colours than I’ve seen

Greener than green

Pinker than pink

I can hardly blink

Without thinking of you

Being in love as I do.
