Valentine Poem – February 7

Hearts and arrows in a dance

Giving everyone a chance

To catch either one of them

Words roll off the tongue

Hot breath tingles the ears

Sometimes to clown

Or to brush away tears

Fear disrupts love

entrapment

Attachment

Hope

Mope

Doubts

whereabouts

Could this be true?

Looking for cues

Always looking

Sizing

Measuring

Thinking

Nail biting

Wondering

Phishing

Judging

Weighing

Words after

Laughter

Second-guessing

Crazy assessing

Body language

Big time wastage

Love is nutty

When we’re empty

Needy

creepy

Clingy

Not enough

That’s the stuff

Love is tough.

Love is sweet

Like a good tweet.
