Valentine Poem February 4

When I say I love you

There are no conditions

Like breathing naturally

No thought, no judgement

Breathe in

Breathe out

The rhythmic beat of my heart

Uh-bu, uh-bu, uh-bu

When the rains come

‘When the snow falls

When the tsunami comes

Earthquake  engulfs a city

Life goes on for those who live

Breathe in breathe out

My love is like that

Beyond your eyes, nose, colour cheeks

Assets and resources

I embrace your four bodies

Physical, emotional, spiritual and mental

My love transcends the barriers

Of the ego, it is free

Like a rose transplanted in another garden

I will still see your beauty, I will still love you.
